BUDDHA
11th - 13th Century Japan
Bronze, 18 Inches Tall
Amazing Japanese standing bronze Buddha from the late Kamakura period. Stands an impressive 18 inches tall. In outstanding condition- please examine the photos carefully. This is the best Japanese Buddha (by far) I have been able to acquire in over 20 years of collecting. Came out of a US estate auction. The sculpting, casting, and finishing are all outstanding- would go for at least twice the price in most settings.
