SHRINE BOX
18th - 19th Century Mongolia
Wood & Clay, 5-1/8 Inches Tall
Extremely fine example sculpted out of a special clay fused to wood which allows for great detail. Very rare to find a piece like this with a central Stupa surrounded by 9 deities. Never seen another like it- even in books. A personal favorite.
