This auction is for an extremely beautiful Laos or Lanna Thai Buddha head. The sculpting, casting, and patina are all exceptional. The serenity and dignity in the face are powerful. There are remains of gilding. Other than the lack of a body, the condition is excellent, with ears and finial complete. It stands 4 and 1/4 inches not including the attached base.
