This one is a mystery: at first I thought it was early Mandalay (18/early 19thC) Burmese emulation of a walking Sukothai Buddha. I based this on the shape of the top of the head and the shape of the face. I have shown it to a knowledgable collector who believes that it is earlier, and possibly contemporary with late Sukothai (15/16thc) It stands an impressive 21.5 inches high. It is very well sculpted and finished, and has traces of original dark red lacquer on the base, eyes, and hair.
