This is an exceptonal Stone Pagan Buddha Stele. It appears to have been completely lacquered for most of it's life, which may account for the exceptional condition. The Buddha has a remarkable serenity found in great Buddhist art. It stands 9.25 inches high by 7 inches wide by approx 2 and 1/3 inches deep. It is mounted on a metal base that could stand to be upgraded. A fantastic item.
