Wonderful late 18th to 19thC Sino-Tibetan IRON figure of Kubera probably from China. Also known as Jambala, a deity of prosperity. Quite uncommon to find authentic antique large iron figures of this type- especially with original polychrome. 8.5" x 14" at the base, 19.5" tall and quite heavy- approx 30 pounds. The casting and finishing are quite good, and the detail is exceptional for an iron piece of this type.
