This is an absolutely fantastic and very fine thickly cast silver Laos Buddha. No one that I have shown it to has ever seen such a large and beautiful silver Laos Buddha. It weighs over 50 ounces with no clay core and stands 9 inches tall. The Buddha is uncleaned and has a beautiful luminescent greyish black patina. It is exciting to find a silver Buddha such as this that remains uncleaned. The face is fantastic, with a delightful smile. The sculpting, casting, and finishing are much more refined than typically found on Laos Buddhas. This one is a bit more expensive than most other Buddhas of it's size, but you will not find another like it anywhere.
