Korean or Japanese Bodhisattva made of iron. 34" tall. Beauty!. Base and figure are separate pieces. I had a related piece which was made of bronze that was attributed to Korea. This one has an early "Japan" label from the late Meiji period, though it may have originally come from Korea but been imported to the USA from Japan. Wonderful countenance.
