Bought this 30+ years ago in a small village in the north of Thailand along with a few other pieces of early antique pottery. I just discovered it looks exactly like antique German pottery! All of the other items checked out as authentic Thai pieces, so this is s bit of a mystery UNTIL this week when someone who collects Southeast Asian pottery told me that they have a piece almost exactly like this one, but with a few stylistic differences. They said it is closely related to a group of other ceramic pieces they have collected in Thailand that they believe are either Cambodian or Eastern Thai. They are all likely from the 15th to the 18th centuries. 11.25" tall.
