This is probably the most finely cast Mon Buddha I have ever come across. This type of Buddha is usually done in a more provincial style, and with a simpler base. This one has exceptional casting and meticulous finishing. There is also an extremely fine (but hard to see) inscription in the front of the base. The casting was done in a 'double poured" method.
