This is a very beautiful and well cast ornamental Khmer bronze object. I THINK it is made to go in the center of the forehead of an elephant to attach the reigns, although I am not sure of this. It is very well sculpted piece of art, with a sun burst design in the center. It comes with a stand, although it could use a better quality mount. Every thing about it (patina, composition, condition) is first rate. It is a good size at 4 and 1/4 inches high by close to 1/2 inch thik at it's thickest.
