Country Group:The Himalayas (Tibet, Nepal, Mongolia and Other)
Item id: 304

This auction is for an extremely beautiful Mongolian Buddha Tsa Tsa in a wooden Gau Box. The Buddha tablet is made of terracotta, and is then painted with exquisite detail. This piece is removable from the box. There is some loss to the flower to the right of the Buddha, but otherwise it is in incredible condition, as seen in the photos. This one came from the same source as the one I had listed 3 weeks ago, although this one is even finer. The Gau box has wear to the lacquer, but is otherwise in good condition. From an awesome collection of Mongolian Buddhist items. The Gau box stands 3 and 1/4 inches high.
