This is the earliest South East Asian Buddha I have ever had the pleasure of putting up for sale. It is an early Dvarati Buddha from Thailand or Cambodia, and is of the earliest Buddhist art found in S.E. Asia. It has a strong burial patina consistent with it's great age. The condition is exceptional for such a piece, and there are no losses or damage. He sits 3 and 5/8 inches high, which is a good size for a bronze of this age.
