A very nice and genuine antique late 19thc burmese mandalay style buddha in silver over pottery, in the top of the head his "ushnisha" is an inset crystal or glass bead that shows red in the light,all of the silver covering is intact although some of the inner pottery core was missing when found so has been filled with an epoxy putty to save the silver from becoming damaged, a very nice uncommon. These are typically damaged in some way, this one being intact.
