Country Group:The Himalayas (Tibet, Nepal, Mongolia and Other)
Item id: 332

This is a lovely authentic Tibetan (or possibly Mongolian) Thangka of a fierce protective deity. Unlike most of the Thangkas sold on Ebay, this is guaranteed to be the real thing. It came out of a high end auction house: I bought a group of them a while back. It has typical wear patterns, and has some writing on the back. The colors are great, and the painting is lively. The actual Thangka is 5 and 1/4 by 6 and 1/2 inches. It is mounted in a mat, which is 13 and 1/3 by 11 and 1/2. A nice one.
