Country Group: The Himalayas (Tibet, Nepal, Mongolia and Other)
POWERFUL and coomplex 18/19thC Nepalese tantric Yamantaka with consort. Cast in a number of parts and then assembled. The top heads are loose, though they do not come off. I have him backwards on his base, as he stands at a better angle. Collected 35-40 years ago by a German gentleman traveling in Northern India and Nepal. Stands proudly at 8.75" tall, base is 5" x 2.75". A lot going on here! I've never has another piece quite like this.
