This is the very best Tibetan Buddhist bronze I own: ithas been part of my personal collection for many years, but I have been selling off some of my non-S.E. Asian items to raise funds for a large purchase. The sculpting, casting, detailing, finishing and overall impact are of the very highest quality. There is loss to the gilding, but otherwise the overall condition is excellent. The reserve reasonable given that this piece is as good as many of the items sold at the high end auction houses, and would have an auction estimate in the thousands if it was listed in a major auction. It stands 6 and 7/8ths inches tall, and is heavy for it's size at over 40 ounces. It came to me from an old Canadian collection. The patina is a bit deeper than the photos suggest.
