Country Group: The Himalayas (Tibet, Nepal, Mongolia and Other)
WOW- Never seen another like him. Remarkable presence. Wonderful figure on a luch lotus petal base. Atleast 18/19th century, may be earlier. Remains of distinctive orange/red lacquer present on lotus petals and lower back-looks alot like the lacquer used on some late Ming pieces. Large at 10.5" tall. A new all-time favorite. Not inexpensive.
