Country Group: The Himalayas (Tibet, Nepal, Mongolia and Other)
Fine Anqique Tibetan Lama. Note the finesse in the fingers and robes, as well as the separately cast Dorje and Phurba in his hands. The bottom appears to be a replacement (re-consecrated and the paint on the face may be a later addition. From a fine old estate. Probably 18th/19thC. 9.5" wide fingertip to fingertip, 8" tall, 4" deep
