This is an extremely serene and powerful stone Thai Buddha from the last days of the old Thai Kingdom of Haripunchai. It is a masterfully sculpted Buddha with a depth found only in great Buddhist art. It has losses, as can be seen in the photos. There also look to be old and extremely well done repairs to the face and neck. The low reserve for the quality of this piece reflect this. The piece stands 6 inches tall, 8 and 3/4 inches with the attached stand.
