This is a very unusual small bronze temple or shrine designed to house a Buddha. It looks related to the Shan style "Buddha story" pieces of the 18/19th century, although the casting on this one is heavier and of better quality, leading me to believe that this one is likely earlier. Generally in good shape: the only loss is to the lower reverse, which does not show when there is a Buddha inside.
