15/16thC Jain Bronze Altar with multiple figures and brass and silver inlay. Extensive inscription on the back. From the estate of a billionaire collector who donated many pieces to both the Metropolitan Museum in New York and the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco. Many smaller pieces from the collection were auctioned off to raise money for one of his foundations. An excellent example of its type. piece is 7" tall, 4.25" wide, 2.5" deep
