This is a very nicely cast Laos Buddha. He has a strong, calm, and highly dignified face. It is an early one: my estimate is 16th century: based on the huge hands, casting, finial, and overall feel, it may even be a bit earlier. Guaranteed to be an authentic old piece. It is in excellent condition with no losses or repairs. He is a nice size, and stands a full 10 inches tall. He is extremely heavy for his size at over 91 ounces.
