Country Group: The Himalayas (Tibet, Nepal, Mongolia and Other)
Large, early Nepalese Bodhisattva. Cast in 2 parts and attached at the waist (currently with a modern screw). Rare to find this type this fine and large. I'm not sure how to date- I believe this is atleast early 18thC, and probably earlier Graceful, with a powerful and serene presence. 19.5" total height. Attached base is 2.25" tall, with a diameter of 4.25"
