Extremely uncommon and very expressive Late Pagan solid-cast Buddha. Hard to date with precision, but I believe this Buddha to be 14/15th century (plus or minus a century or two), and from the "Ava" or "Pinya" periods in Burma. Classic Pagan face and body. Sits 9" tall, bottom measures 6.75" x 4 7/8". Very heavy-a good 15 pounds!
