14/15thC Tibetan Bronze Buddha. Cast with great detail- note the finesse in the sash over his shoulder, hands and fingers, dorge etc. Also note the 2 small elephants on the lotus petals on the front of the base. I have never seen another Tibetan Buddha of this type with this feature, and can find none in the reference books. Beautiful face-both serene and powerful, he radiates a peaceful joy. A rare, early beauty. 5.75" tall, bottom measures 4.25" x 3.5".
