This is a beautiful and early Northern Thai Buddha cast from a very fine bronze: it has the glass like surface found on extremely expensive Buddhas. This type is rarely found on Ebay. It may have a good amount of silver and/or some gold in the alloy. The base is missing, but this is not uncommon on early Thai Buddhas from the north. I have been told that the fine bronze is valuable, and that in times past it was removed to be used to make new Buddha statues. For Thai people, as long as the entire Buddha body is fully intact (which this one is) the base is not so important. He stands 5.5 inches tall not including the attached mordern lucite base.
