This is a lovely 18th or 19th century Thai Buddha in a late Ayuthaya style. It has all the features that make a great Buddha-beautific and serene face, large size, nice sculpting and patina, and good condition. There is wear to the laquer, as can be seen in the photos. He stands a full 17.5 inches tall and is 11.5 inches wide at the base. I put a 7.25 inch Buddha in one photo to give a perspective of its large size. He is also quite heavy. There is no damage or repairs.
