9/10th Dvarati Bronze Buddha from what is now Thailand or Burma. With the Ushinisha (bump on top of the head) set so far back, it is likely that this piece is from pre-Pagan Burma. Quite rare. Face is worn, but still has a deeply contemplative countenance. Buddha measures 6" tall. Total height on custom base is 8".
