Country Group: The Himalayas (Tibet, Nepal, Mongolia and Other)
SET OF THREE (I also have individual ones listed on my site- search in advance search under either Tibet or Mongolian, check "for sale, and choose "clay "or "terracotta" and search word "stupa" and several will come up) Tibetan or Mongolian I originally believed this was 15thC or possibly earlier and possibly Mongolian, but a knowledgeable collector told me he was pretty sure this type was 11/12thC and from Tibet. Unusual type, with a Stupa on one side and a prayer (maybe clear enough to read as it is so well cast, if you could understand the language). Size is 2.5 inches tall each, almost 2 inches wide, 0.5 inches deep. Beautiful and rare, especially in a matched set of three. I had gotten a group of 10 or 11 of these many years ago and sold some of them individually, but decided to keep 3 sets of 3 of them to sell as sets.
