This is a wonderful Hanuman that was deaccessioned from the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco: most had museum numbers on them: this one did not. My guess is 19th century, although I do not know how to date Hindu pieces reliably: he may be early 20th century. He is lively and joyous, with nice devotional wear. He is stands 2 and 3/8 inches tall. He can stand on his own, but does better leaning on something.
