This is an extremely fine Lanna style Thai Buddha: these small refined Buddhas are extremely prized by the Thai people, and often sell for more than much larger examples. This one has an exquisite face that is as good as they get. The casting is excellent, and the surface is as smooth as glass. There is some loss to the base, but the figure is perfect. He sits just over 4 inches tall.
