This is a fantastic and good sized bronze Buddha from the Nan area of Northern Thailand. It is in the range of 18 to 19th century. The only other piece I haver seen cast of this alloy with this patina is a superb late Ayuthaya era walking Buddha which wad been gilded. The casting is superb, and the sculpting is excellent. The patina is a deep bronze with a blue-green patina. Check out the detail in the sash: it gives a sense of the quality of this sculpture. He is large at 11 inches tall by 8 inches wide at the base. He is extremely heavy at 157 ounces
