Serene and very well cast Chinese Liao Buddha from the 11/12th century. 4 5/8" tall figure only. Stand in photos is missing- currently figure has a modern post sticking out of the bottom and will need a new base in order to stand properly. Outstanding condition, though missing (separately cast) hands and part of one earlobe. Some remains of original gilding remain.
