This is an uncommon Burmese Buddha with a very distinctive look. I believe it is what is referred to as "Tai Yai". It is related to Shan style, but the face and the styling is quite different. He has more depth than most Shan style Buddhas, and he also has more ornamentation (note the design on the base and on his robes. I believe he is late 18th or early 19th century. He is a good size at a full 10 inches tall. I've had very few like this over the years.
