Superb antique Mongolian carved Thangka Box with a color matched woodblock Thangka inside. Box is large at is 29" x 3" x 2.75", fabric is 45" x 29".I've never seen such a nice box of this type. While the Thangka has a few small holes and some wear, it would look beautiful displayed. Puechased in the 1990's when outstanding Mongolian antique items were more available.
