Sensitively modeled early Japanese(?) Monk or Buddhist teacher. Looks to be hundreds of years old. Remains of gilding on the borders of the robe near the neck. 2.25" tall. Optional stand. Very special. Marked on the bottom, as seen in the last photo. Rare- much different in quality and feel than most Japanese pieces
