This is a delightful and uncommon Thai Bronze Buddha of a type I have not encountered very often. I believe it was made in the early Ratanakosin period (late 18th early 19thc century), but in an area far from Bangkok. It has a wonderfully joy filled face, and a serene overall feel. A very good Buddha! Sits Almost 5 inches tall.
