This exceptionally rare set of 16 antique Tibetan illuminated manuscript pages showcases the richness of Himalayan folk art and script tradition. Each page—measuring 7.75" x 2.75"—features finely rendered calligraphy alongside vivid animal illustrations, totaling 30 individual hand-painted images. Created on aged, beautifully textured paper, these double-sided leaves offer a remarkable glimpse into early Tibetan devotional or instructional manuscripts. Their expressive, whimsical imagery makes them ideal for mounting and framing, whether individually or as a curated grouping. Acquired in the 1990s, this collection represents an increasingly scarce form of Tibetan artistic heritage seldom seen complete.
