This is a very fine folk Laos Bronze Buddha probably 17/18th century. Originally lacquered and gilded, some traces remain. Wonderful patina, and quite uncommon. His head is small for his body, but somehow it adds to his charm. I've had him displayed in my livingroom and he gets lots of smiles. He sits 7.75 inches tall.
