This is a fine and authentic 19thC Shan Buddha from Burma. This one has traces of an unusual yellow lacquer. The face is exceptional. There are original casting flaws in the base, as can be seen in the photos, and old loss to the tip of the finial. . There is an inscription on the back of the base. He sits 9 inches tall. Well cast and beautifully sculpted. Look at the photos.
