Country Group: The Himalayas (Tibet, Nepal, Mongolia and Other)
This is a very sweet and unusual very old bronze figure. It looks to be 18/19thC Nepalese, and to be Buddhist, or possible Jain. The large conical head and small ears are not typical of Nepalese Buddhist art. Good ritual rear with an excellent paitina. Wonderful face. 3.75 inches tall. Never seen another like it.
