Early Japanese Bronze Buddha mounted to a "wheel of the law". Unclear of the two are a marriage. Likely over 600 years old (bronze part-wood part appears to be 19thC) Diameter measures 8.25". Was originally the center of a Japanese "Buddhist Mirror". These were popular in the 13th to 15th centuries-often the Buddha was cast in bronze and the "mirror" was made of wood. the "mirrors" are usually lost and they are either re-mounted or sold unmounted.
