18/19thC Burmese Shan bronze of the Buddha giving his sermon at Deer Park. This type of narrative sculpture was used to teach stories of the Buddha's life, and originally would have been part of a large set. Sits 3.75 inches tall, 2 7/8 inches deep, 3.25 inches at widest point
