I bought this as I loved the kind and very skillfully painted face. Probably Japanese Meiji period. Dirty and worn, it still has beautiful color and presence. I have seriously contemplating getting cleaned and framing behind glass, but I don't have space on my wall so I am putting up for sale. Painting measures 10 x 18.5 inches, frame is 14 x 32 inches.
