Sensitively modeled early Chinese Asian stone head. Looks to be quite early. The Head is 7.25 inches, and on the stand, the total height is 12.75 inches. I am unsure of the origin, but recently saw a closely related head carved in a black stone selling at a reputable auction house with attribution of being very early (Pre-Tang) China.
