18thC Thai or Lao Buddha with strong burial patina- this piece has not been cleaned and is in "as found" condition. It retains some of the original black lacquer, but it is hard to see as it is currently covered with burial dirt. Was purchased along with a group of other closely related figures- some retained more or less of their original lacquer, gilding, and burial patina. Made of some type of clay or terracotta. Well modeled. It sits 2-3/8" tall, and the bottom of the base is 1.5" x 1". Domestic Insurance is included. International shipping will be $30 including packing, shipping, and insurance.
