Early Jambala- Bodhisattva of Wealth and Good Fortune- from an English collection of small solid-cast Nepalese and Tibetan deities dating from the 13th to 17th centuries. I will be listing several of them over the next few weeks. I was less sure of how to date this one than some of the others, but it does look to be a true antique piece and not a modern emulation. Stands proudly at 1 5/8 inches tall.
