Country Group: The Himalayas (Tibet, Nepal, Mongolia and Other)
Tibetan fierce deity head with gilt highlights in crown. Inside of head contains what appears to be an original scroll and a sewn up leather pouch. Head alone is 4.25 inches tall, total height on stand is 8.75 inches. Made of copper repousse. Good age- probably 18thC, possibly earlier. Probably separated from his body during the Cultural Revolution in China in the 1960's.
