Incredible Nepalese Bodhisattva of Compassion- one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. I'm not sure of age, but looks very old, with considerable wear, and a Pala face. Cast in two parts and jointed at the waist. Came out of a collection in a fabulous San Francisco penthouse. Collected in the 1960's. Nine inches tall by 8 inches deep, but the figure is much large than the dimensions convey as there is no base of any kind. Probably the most beautifyl Nepalese sculpture I have ever had.
